23 year-old Sarah Rutherford, a Philip-Barbour High School teacher of Belington, was indicted on one count of sexual abuse by a guardian or custodian or person of trust to a child, and three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, when the Barbour County Grand Jury met on October 24th. The Fire Fee discussion is far from over in Belington and the same issues seem to resurrecting themselves at every opportunity. This back and forth shuffling of such an important issue can only be detrimental to our community and I can't believe this couldn't have been handled a whole lot better from the very start.
